PORT HACKING FOR HOME.— Rain delayed the C. and D. Line steamer Port Hacking- at Lyttelton yesterday and consequently did not leave until this morning for London via St. Vincent. PERSIAN PRINCE REPORTS.— Cabled advice from Balboa reports the departure of the steamer Persian Prince for Auckland, where she will discharge sulphur from Texas. She is due here about May 22. HURUNUI AT WELLINGTON.—The N.Z. Shipping Company advise that the Federal steamer Hurunui left Gisborne at 3 p.m. on Thursday for Wellington, where she arrived this morning, to continue loading. She is to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Napier, to fill up for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool. PORT DARWIN’S MOVEMENTS.— The C. and D. Line steamer Port Darwin is to sail from New Plymouth today for Wanganui, Wellington and Port Chalmers. The Port Darwin will sail finally from the Otago port on May 11 for London via Montevideo. WEST CONOB SAILS.—In continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports the American steamer West Conob left Auckland yesterday for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and China. SUSSEX LEAVES JAVA.—Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the Sussex, en route from Calcutta, via Rangoon, Penang, and Singapore, cleared Javese ports early on Sunday morning for Townsville. The vessel will then proceed to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. WEST CARMONA RADIOS.— Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane are in receipt of a wireless message advising the arrival of the American steamer West Carmona for Wednesday next. The vessel is bringing cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Melbourne. TAIROA TO SAIL.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairo is scheduled to reach Opua from Aus tralia on May 26 to commence loading in New Zealand for England. The vessel will not visit Auckland. She will continue loading at New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington. From the last-mentioned port she is to sail on .Tune 18 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. A. S. Paterson and Co. Ltd. are the local agents. M A RAM A COMING.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Marama is reported to have sailed from London on Wednesday for New eZaland. The vesel is due at Auckland about June 4 to unload explosives. Her general merchandise will be discharged at Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. WAIPORI TO RESUME. —The Union Company advises that the Waipori docked this morning for cleaning and painting. She will undock on Monday and sails the same evening for Noumea and Surprise Island. At the latter place she loads for Auckland. RUAPEHU POSTPONED.—The N.Z. Shipping Company advises that the departure of the liner Ruapehu from Wellington for Liverpool and London via Paname has been postponed from 5 p.m. to-day until 3 p.m. on Monday, May 2. NORFOLK ISLAND SERVICE.—At present loading at Auckland Messrs. Spedding Limited advises that the Government steamer Hinemoa sails at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 2, for Norfolk Island. KIA ORA SAlLS.—Having completed her loading last evening the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora left Auckland shortly before 7 a.m. to-day for New York, Boston and London. FORERIC REPORTS.—According to a wireless message received Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane expects the steamer Foreric to arrive at Auckland on Wednesday next from Nauru Island. The vessel has a cargo for dischax'ge here and at Wanganui.

PORT CAROLINE SAILS.— The C. and D. Line steamer Port Carolind cleared Wellington at 6.35 this morning for London via Montevideo. CANADIAN CHALLENGER SAILING.—The Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Challenger which arrived last evening from Wellington is scheduled to sail finally from New Zealand at 3 p.m. to-day. She arrived here from Halifax on April 6. commenced unloading, and then went south to complete her discharge. She then loaded a cargo of New Zealand produce at Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and completes it at Auckland to-day. She discharges this cargo at New York, Boston and Montreal. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS.—The Union Company advises the following movements of steamers engaged in the transpacific cargo serThe Hauraki. which left Fanning Island on April 19 for Vancouver and San Francisco is due at Vancouver on Sunday. The Waitemata left Sydney on April 22 for Suva. Vancouver and San Francisco. She is due at Suva to-day, and will sail again on May 7 for Vancouver, where she is due on May 27. The Waihemo arrived at Pago Pago yesterday from Suva, and sailed the same day for Vancouver, where she is due on May 18. The Wairuna left San Francisco on April -14 for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Papeete on Sunday next. The Waiotapu left San Francisco on April 24 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on May 20. The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast are approximately as follows: The Hauraki will load at Vancouver and San Francisco early in May for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Waihemo will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for Apia, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. The Waitemata will load at Vancouver, and San Francisco in June for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. The Wairuna will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in July for Auckland (possibly Wellington), Melbourne, and Sydney. The Waiotapu will load at Vancouver and San Francisco early in August for New Zealand and Australian ports. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE— The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations during the week-end:— Auckland.—For Saturday and Sunday: Tofua, Mataroa, Maunganui, West Conob, Foreric, Kia Ora, Canadian Challenger. Chatham Islands.—Arawa, Ruahine. Wellington.—For Saturday: Maori. Wahine, Ngaio, Arahura, Denham, Crosskeys, Anamba, Moeraki, Raranga. For Saturday and Sunday: Tamaliine, Marama, Port Victor, Port Hacking, LTlimaroa, Northumberland, Queen Maud, Kaiapoi, Port Darwin. Awarua. —For Saturday: Port Denison, Tutanekai. For Saturday and Sunday: City of Khois, Jvaikorai, Norfolk. For Sunday only: Somerset, Hereford, Karetu. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—-TO-DAY'S ARRIVAL Rarawa, 7 a.m., 1,077 tons, Bark, from New Plymoulit. The Rarawa was to arrive this morning from New Plymouth. She is scheduled to sail on the return journey at 3 p.m. on Monday. The Ngatiawa is expected at 6 a.m. tomorrow from Hokianga and sails at 2 p.m. on Monday for Port Waikato, Raglan and Kawhia. The Arapawa is due from Port Waikato, Raglan and Kawhia at G a.m. tomorrow and leaves again at 2 p.m. on Monday for Wanganui.
