NEW THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE

TRAINING FOR NEW ZEALANDERS Mr. Haddon, the principal-elect of the new theological college of the Associated Churches of Christ of New Zealand, has outlined the purpose of its establishment and the educational policy that would be followed there. Mr. Haddon said that the purpose of the college was to train New' Zealanders for the Church of Christ ministry in this country. Otago had been chosen as the site of the new college, as it would be near the medical school, and no doubt some of the students would take courses there with a view to becoming medical missionaries. In regard the policy of teaching that will be followed there, Mr. Haddon said that an endeavour would Le made to emphasise the plea for Christian unity. The intellectual side will not be unduly stressed at the college, but at the same time we w'ill consider all the aspects of modern theological learning.
