MAHIA DELAYED.— The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the Mahia has been delayed and now leaves Port Chalmers on Wednesday at daybreak for Wellington, where she completes loading and finally sails on April 20 for London via Rio de Janeiro. HORORATA FOR HOME.— Loaded with Dominion produce the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer llororata leaves Wellington at four o’clock this afternoon for London via Panama. DELPHIC SAILS TO-DAY.— Bound for London via the Cape Horn route the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Delphic is scheduled to leave Wellington to-day. BARON ARDROSSAN SAILING.— The Baron Ardrossan, which for the last week has been unloading sugar at Chelsea from Cuba, is scheduled to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Westport. After coaling at the Southern port the vessel will sail for Australia to load wheat for the United Kingdom. PORT DENISON DUE 4 P.M.— With cargo from Liverpool the C. and D. Line steamer Port Denison is due at Auckland at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company are the local agents. THE ARGYLLSHIRE.— The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Argyllshire is due at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton to complete Homeward loading. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on April 20 for London via Panama. CARGO FROM NEW YORK.— The New Zealand' Shipping Company has been notified by cablegram that the A. and A. Line chartered steamer Austi*alind left New York on April 2, and Newport News on April 4, with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. The vessel is due at Auckland on May 12. CANADIAN CHALLENGER.— The Canadian Challenger sailed last evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete unloading cargo from Halifax. The vessel will also load in the South and then return to Auckland to fill up with general cargo. She is due back at Auckland on April 29 and the following day she is to be despatched for New York, Boston and Montreal. CITY OF KHIOS REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company the master of the steamer City of Khios expects the vessel to arrive at Tiri at 10 p.m. to-morrow from New York. From Auckland the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hobart and Melbourne. FRUIT TRADE.— The Union Company’s Eastern Pacific cargo service is to be resumed next month by the Waipalii, which is being converted into an oil-burner at Port Chalmers. The work will be completed this month, and on May 5 the vessel is to be despatched from Auckland for Rarotonga and other island ports, where she will load fruit for her return voyage. NIAGARA DUE MONDAY. —The Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara arrives at Auckland early on Monday morning from Sydney and berths after pratique has been granted at East Queen’s Wharf. She is announced to sail at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. RARANGA ARRIVES FROM LONDON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer, Raranga, arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from London, and berthed at Prince’s Wharf. She carries a cargo of general merchandise to be discharged at Auckland, Nelson, Port Chalmers and Bluff. Leaving London on February 26 rough head seas were encountered, and it was March 16 before Panama was reached. Balboa was cleared next day and the remainder of the voyage was made at a good speed in fine weather. The Raranga is commanded by Captain H. Gordon, and the following are the officers: Chief, Mr. F. G. Brooks; second, Mr. F. Eadon; third, Mr. T. Turnbull; chief engineer, Mr. A. Moore; second, Mr. E. Spencer; third, Mr. T. Clark; fourth, Mr. A. Foulds; fifth, Mr. J. Cornand; sixth, Mr. M. Mauchan; seventh, Mr. R. Stewart; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. W. Matthews; second, Mr. J. Fletcher: surgeon. Dr. R. B. Martin; cadets, Mr. Woods and Mr. Carroll. The local agents, Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Company, hope to dispatch the Raranga about Wednesday or Thursday next for Wellington. On completion of her discharge the vessel loads in New Zealand and finally sails from this port about May 9 for Home.

TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS.—The Union Company advises the following movements of their steamers in the trans-Pacific cargo service:— The Hauraki left Sydney on March 25 for Fiji, Fanning Island and Vancouver. She arrived at Suva on April I, and sails to-day for Fanning Island. The Waite mata, which arrived at Sydney on Monday morning from Wellington, is expected to sail to-day for Melbourne. The Waihemo will leave Port Chalmers to-day for Westport, thence Suva, Pago Pago and Vancouver. The Wairuna was due at San Francisco yesterday to complete loading for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington and Sydney early in April. The Waiotapu arrived at Vancouver on April 5, and clears Union Bay on April 13 for San Francisco to complete loading for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Sydney. Forward loading dates at Pacific Coast ports are approximately as follow : The Wairuna is expected to clear San Francisco on April 13 for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Waiotapu will leave San Francisco about April 23 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Hauraki will load at Vancouver and San Francisco early in May for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Waihemo will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for Napier, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Waitemata will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in June for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Wairuna will load at Vancouver and San Francisco in July for New Zealand and Australian ports.
