EASTER TRAVELLERS
BOOKING OFFICE BUSY MANY FOLK GOING SOUTH Business is brisk at the Railway Booking Office. The Easter holidays are rapidly approaching, and the early birds are getting the best seats. There has been a steady stream of excursionists during the week, but this morning business accelerated considerably. Both reserved and ordinary seats were in demand. Intending passengers are taking advantage of the regulation which permits them to book their seats 14 days in advance. If the weather holds good the Easter season will compare most favourably with that of other years. No particular scenic resort has been chosen as first favourite by intending travellers. Curiously enough there has been a large percentage of bookings throvigh to the South Island. Rotorua, Wliangarei, Wellington and the Tongariro National Park have all been well booked, but the real rush will start next week.
