AUCKLANDER “TUNES IN” HALF-HOUR ON LOUD SPEAKER An Auckland amateur, Mr. Mahoney, of Dominion Road, reports reception from the Holland broadcasting station. P.C.J.J., yesterday. He states that the anouncements and musical items were very clear and the programme came in well over the loud-speaker for half an hour. He had consistent reception for two and a-half hours. The set used was a 3-valve short-wave one and the wave-length was 30.2 metres. Several of the announcements and the names of artists were in Dutch and the name of the station was announced about a dozen times during the 2£ hours.
