SHIPPING CLERK REMANDED A CHRISTCHURCH CASE Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. William John Sullivan (25) was remanded for a week, and ordered to report daily to the police, on a charge of, between June 30, 1924, and March 19, 1927, receiving sums of money totalling £950, on terms requiring him to account for it to the Canadian Government Mercantile Marine, Ltd.. and fraudulently failing to do ~0. thereby committing theft. Bail was allowed, self in £250. and one surety of £250.
