DROWNED IN CREEK

BODY IN SHALLOW WATER Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A drowning accident occurred today, when James Johnston Colclough, aged 69, was found lying in a little creek not far from his place of residence at Belfast. Mr. Colclough had left his house apparently in his usual state of health. When he did not return, a search was made, and his body was found in 2ft of water. At the inquest, the coroner, Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., returned a verdict that death was due to drowning, ther,e being no evidence to show how the drowned man got into the water. _
