TOWN HALL

MUNICIPAL CONCERT A very interesting concert is that to be given by the Municipal Band in the Town Hall on Saturday night. Splendid band numbers will be supplemented with vocal items by Miss Myra Monk and Mr. Hartley Warburton, and Major Maloy will play Weber’s great clarionet solo, “Concertino.” The outstanding numbers in the band selections will be the suite “Santa Claus,” which receives its premiere at this concert. It is in four charming numbers, “Toyland,” “Starland.” “On Tiptoe,” and “Christmas Joy,” and will be found of much piquancy both of melody and harmony. Booking is at Messrs. Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd., Queen Street.
