Since 1922 the number of inpatients decreased from 2434 to 1560. Out-patients in the same period increased from 4292 to 5891. Last year pensions totalled £7,343,666, compared with £7,050,082 in the previous year. The report shows that the annual commitment for pensions is likely to : :crease for some years. Up to the of last year more than >8.000,000 had been paid in pensions to former soldiers and their dependants.
