Russian Embassy In England Panic-stricken.

With the exception of the permanent O.G.P.U. detachment in Britain and four Stalin fanatics the whole Russian colony at London is panic-stricken, says the Daily Mail in a special article. The majority have been subjected to gruelling examinations. A Soviet engineer has already postponed three times an appointment with a big British firm to discuss a large c. ntract. He has been questioned by O.G.P.U. agents for La hours and is now under medical treatment. The Soviet colony has abandoned every vestige of gaiety or social life. They refuse to answer telephone calls and have cut themselves off from their London friends. The third degree operated at the! Soviet Embassy day and night, ex-
perts trying to obtain confessions regarding the Trotsky-Ziuovkv conspiracy and the revolutionary plot in the Red Army, which is alleged to have’ originated and been financed in the Embassay at London.
The Soviet Embassy’ denies 0.0 P.U. activities and states that M Ozorsky is returning to London.
