Stampede For New Stamps.

Press Association— Copyright Lon lon, Sept. 1. Crowds stormed the all-night post offices for the new King Edward stamps, which were issued as midnight chimed. The first purchasers at the Fleet Street post office, where a queue started at 10 p.m., were three French girls, who immediately attached them to postcards which they posted to themselves. Many, including collectors, purchased whole sheets. Buying continued until the early hours of the morning. Tire new stamps will be available until September 5, when the sale of King George stamps will continue until the stock is exhausted.
