RUGBY GATES.
FINAL AT STRATFORD. An''aggregate of about £260 was taken by the Taranaki Rugby Union ■fjor the two final m|at|cb.es, one of which was drawn, between Kaponga and Tukapa. About 2000 people were present at Stratford on Saturday and nearly 4000 at Eltham on Thursday. A special train from Nov/ Plymouth carried 150 passengers. The two gates, though She final figures' are not yet available, will heilp to offset the loss at the three representative fixtures played iin, wet weather.
