MEMORIAL SERVICE.

LATE MR. J. B. CLEMOW. A service in memory of the late Mr J. B. Clemow, formerly a circuit steward, society steward and a trustee, was conducted by the Rev. C. 0. Hailwood at the Stratford Methodist Church last night. Mr. Clemow's favourite hymn, "Rock of Ages," was sung, and the choir rendered the anthem, "What Are These?' Mr. Hailwood took as his text, " This is the victory that overcometh the world." It is only a few weeks since the church accepted a pulpit chair from the Clemow family in memory of Mrs Clemow, sen., Mr. Clemow's illness preventing him from attending the service that morning.
