Miller Desires To Conciliate Catholics.

Press Association —Copyright Berlin, Aug. 29. Indicating that the Nazis desire to conciliate the Catholics, Herr Hitler to-day intervened and suspended the trial of priests charged with currency offences. This is believed to be due to a pastoral letter which was to be read in all Catholic churches to-morrow protesting against anti-Catholic measures in Germany and demanding a common front against Bolshevism. The National Zeitung takes the unusual step of publishing the text of the letter.
