In the semi-finals of the women’s singles in the . ‘Wimbledon tennis championships, M. Sperling defeated M. IvlatlHcu, 6-3, 6-2;--Mrs. Jacobs defeated M. Jedrzejowska, G-4, 6-0. In the men’s doubles quarter-finals, Allison and Van Ryn defeated McGrath and Sproule, 6-4, 63, 6-4; Borotra and Briignon defeated Itoh and Cunningham, 6-2, 7-5, 5-7, 6-2. In the mixed • doubles (fourth round), Le Geay and Mile. Henrotin defeated Van Ryn and Mrs Van Ryn, 6-1, 7-5. In the quarter-final Budge and Mrs. Pabyan defeated Kukuljevic and Countess Delavaldene, 6-0, 6-2.
