Stowaway Transferred In Mid-Ocean.

Discovered on the dock of the Mari>csa on the morning after the vessel left lonohnu, a 20-year-old girl from Salt ,r:ke City, Utah, who stowed away under he impression that the vessel was bound or San Francisco, was transferred in thfe 'aside to the sister ship Monterey when ho vessels passed at midnight. Iho sea was calm when the girl, whose n;\ possession was a suitcase, was taken cress to the Monterey in one of the hip’s boats. She carried with her, howa sum of nearly £4O which was id scribed by the passengers.
