Fastest British Railway Service To Open.

British Official Wireless. Rugby, May 1, The London, Midland and Scottish Railway will inaugurate on Monday the fastest service from London to Glasgow in railway history. The Midday Scot will leave Euston at 2 o'clock and reach Glasgow 7 hours 35 minutes later; completing the 401$ miles at an over-all average speed of 52.9 miles an hour. Seven hundred and forty-seven other L.M.S. services will be accelerated as part of the summer programme starting next week.
