£3OOO Subscribed For M. C. McGregor Fund.
Press Association —Corn-right. Wellington, April 29. The chairman of the committee in charge of the M. C. McGregor fund, Mr. Weinstein, said to-day there was now a sum of approximately £3OOO in the bank to the credit of the fund and further returns were still to be received from several centres, including Southland, West Coast, Auckland, Poverty Bay and Wairarapa. It would be possible, he added, to make a detailed statement in the course of a few days.
