PROGRAMME FOR WINTER. A general course of lectures on music, art end literature, for this year was decided on at a meeting of the Stratford circle of the W.E.A., held jesterday. Study circles under the box scheme are to begin their winter p.ctivitifcs immediately alTer Easter, according to n decision marie at a meeting of the Stratford circle yesterday. In a circular received from Canterbury University College it was explained that music lectures would !e illustrated by gramophone records included in the fortnightly box, art lectures by plates and literature by sets of plays, poems and standard works as required.
