FRUIT SHOP BURGLED

Stratford Premises Occupied by Chinese. BOYS SUSPECTED OF BREAKING AND ENTERING. i , A [nult shop in Broadway occupied by Walter Chang, a Chinese, was burgled at the week-end. An inspection after the discovery that unauthorised persons had entered the building revealed that stock and money on the premises were intact. Boys are susjpectcd. Entrance was gained by the back-door, a fact indicating that the intruders were aware of the absence of Chang and his assistant. To secure the information was not difficult as Chang and his friend travelled to New Plymouth yesterday by the excursion train and there were large numbers at the station.
