Bakers Want Night Work To Be Cooked.
Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, January 23. A deputation from the New Zealand Federated Bakers and Pastry Cooks Union waited on the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, to-day to urge on the Government the desirability of bringingfdown legislation to eliminate the present system of night baking. The deputation contended that the only way of getting uniformity in the matter V was to pass legislation.
