I Consequent upon the expansion npw j taking place in New Zealand aviation an I aircraft inspector has been added to the i civil aviation branch of the Defence Dej partment. The first occupant of the office I is Mr. R. C. Kean, A.M.I.Mech.E., who ' has been a member of the designing staff of the Public Works Department. He had a notable war record.
