A.J.C. PLATE AT SYDNEY

ONLY SUCCESSFUL NEW ZEALAND HORSE

Press Association- -Copyngiu Sydney, April 28.

Delightful weather favoured the con- i elusion of the A.J.C. autumn carnival at! Randwick on Saturday. There was an I attendance of 26,000 and the track was \ in splendid order. The Australian Jockey j Club reports that it was the best autumn meeting since 1929. The meeting was notable for the number of closely fought finishes, which is an indication of skilful work on the part of the handicapper. Silver Jubilee ran prominently in the early part of the Rous Handicap but suffered interference at the leger and appeared to lack dash after that.
