WOMAN ON MUD-FLATS

[ELDERLY AUCKLAND RESIDENT IN SERIOUS CONDITION Press Association —Copyright - Auckland, April 28. Suffering from exposure and shock, Mrs. Isabella James, aged 70, who had been missing from her home since Friday morning, was found lying semiconscious on mud flats on the Hillsborough foreshore.

Mrs. James was wet through and was later admitted to hospital in a serious condition.

The absence of Mrs. James from her home at Onehunga was reported to the police on Friday. She was not traced, however, and nearly 24 hours elapsed before she was found.

Hillsborough residents saw Mrs. James lying on the mud flats about. 50 yards from the shore. The flats are covered at high tide.
