PLAZA THEATRE "SAILORS' LUCK" For good, fast moving .comedy full of farcical situations the movie goer is recommended to see Sailor's ,Luck which had its first sliowing at the Plaza last night. The leading roles roles are taken by two well known stars —James Dunn and Sally Eilers —and they with the large supporting cast combine to give c production that is enjoyment plus. The story deals with a sailor;, in the U.S. . Navy avlio accidentally meets a girl when the fleet is in San Pedro, lie falls in love with hor, and the idiotic, methods by which he strives to get to know her are a scream. AH, is well ; for a while till the fleet suddenly takes to sea and the girl is left penniless. Dunn rings her up from San Francisco to, sayhe has bought, a wedding ring bu't hears a man's voice in the room and rings off. JEnrngcd. at his treatment of her, Sally breaks of the engage meat and becomes friendly with the hotel proprieter who induces her to enter in a dance marathon which he assures her she can win. How she finds it too hot. for her. and a mob of cailors come to her rescue with milling fists and flying bottles, and her reunion with her sailor man form a fitting ending to the picture. Apart from tho main story, of the picture ,comedy is lent by the sup porting artists, who vie with each other .to produce the most results. A strong supporting programme completes the entertainment, which is well worth seeing. ~ ,
