CLARK THE WINNER NEW PLYMOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP The New Plymouth Golf Club’s senior women’s championship was won on Saturday by Mrs G. H. Clark. Displaying golf of a high standard, Mrs Clark defeated Mrs L. R. Curtis in the final 5 up and 4 to play. Though Mrs Curtis made a weak start and played much below her usual form, this did not detract from Mrs Clark’e performance. She played splendid golf throughout, doing the first nine holes in 41 and being level fours for the five holes played on the inward journey.
