CARDIFF (Own Correspondent—Copyright) The Methodist Maori Male Voice Choir visited Cardiff on Tuesday night and presented a. concert to a fairly good attendance. At the con elusion of the evening (he members of (he choir, and visitors from (own were entertained by the local, ladies to supper.
Yesterday afternoon a Bring and Buy afternoon was held in .the hall under the. auspices of (he Cardiff W.D.F.U. Stallholders were: Produce, Mrs Brim ton and Mrs Myers; Plain, Mrs Horn and Mrs Greenwell; Sweets, Mrs Wisnewskl and Mrs Smith; Afternoon tea, a committee under (he capable direction of Mrs Iloskin. a weight guessing competition was run by Mrs llawkes, (he correct weight of. (he cake (which was donated by Mrs C. Carley) was guessed by Mis, s L. Hollins and Mill. Petersen. ,The musical progii.immb opened with a duet by the Misses Iloskin; (hen followed songs by Misses (lads by, Brunton, Wickham; ami a pianoforte solo by Mrs P. Marchaiit.
