REMOVAL OF PRIVILEGES BILL BEING PREPARED Press Association —Cooyrfeht Wellington, September 20. The Government is at present going into the question of the amendment of the Crown Suits Act, and for this purpose is obtaining information on the subject from other Empire countries, according to information given at a meeting to- ,! a- of the executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce. The president reported that a deputation representative of the Associated Chambers of Commerce had waited on the Prime Minister and asked that the Government take up a Bill which had been prepared privately and which sought to remove from Government Ira.ling ventures certain of the privileges they at present enjoyed imdt v the Crown Suits Act and to place them on the same footing as regard suing and being sued as private traders and private citizens generally.
