In a lightweight bout of six rounds Johnny McKay (Gisborne) outpointed B. Estans (Australia), and in a six-round welterweight bout Gus Fitzmaurice (Gisborne) outpointed Clarrie VTcKnight (Hamilton). In amateur bouts Maxim (Hamilton) drew with Matchett ' Gisborne) and Waugh (Gisborne) beat 'auldc (Hamilton). n
