Today, 1 p.m. Berlin, September 29. AT Che Leipzig trial the president sprang a surprise by announcing that Van der Lubbe would be hea~J in regard to ihp actual laying of the fire. Van der Lubbe adopted his usual morbid attitude and mumbled his answers despite the remonstrances of ihc Court.

Eventually he Avns arrested in the Bismarck Hall after being from 15 to 20 minutes within the building. Van der Lubbe, replying to the president, confirmed the above statement. The trial adiou'rned to October 4. The interim will be devoted to ;■, jurists' convolution, when 10,000 Nazis will the triumph of "new German justice."
