0 Press Association.—-Oonyright. Hastings, Sept. VI. In the most colourful bout seen hern tills season George Walker defeated Jack Patterson by two fails to one before a record at tendance. Patterson acted as substitute for Pereira at the last minute, and gave the crowd plenty of excitement, with many incidents. The first fall went to Patterson mi.' tire third round with a variation cradle hold. The American hustled the champion till near the end of the sixth round, when Walker evened up tile falls with a barred 100 hold.
