INTERJECTOR GOES TOO FAR
Called Speaker a Liar
MR COATES’ PROMPT ACTION Christchurch. Sept. 11. An interjector, F. O. Shaddock, discovered he had gone too far when at a political meeting at Cashmere to-night he called the Rt. Hon, J. G. Coates a liar.
Mr. Coates thoroughly exasperated after a long argument, jumped down from the platform, walked over to Shaddock, seized him not very tenderly and told him to take back what he had said.
At this stage police officers came and led Shacklock from the hall.
