Wellington Relief Workers Press Association. —Copyright. Wellington, July 19. It was stated to-day that 98 per cent, of relief workers had reported for duty. This means that there are still about 20 "die hards" on strike. To clarify the position a meeting of relief workers was held to-day, when a new executive of the Relief Workers' Union is believed to have been appointed. A delegation of the men subsequently visited the city engineer's office to announce that the strike was off. They asked that there should be no victimisation of those who had gone out on strike last wek, and it understood an assurance was given that there would be none.
