WAITAKI SCHOOL JUBILEE

L_ o London Dinner London, May 12. There was a large gathering at the Waitaki (New Zealand) School's jubilee dinner at the Royal Empire Society today. The speakers included Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey, Mr. L. C. M. S. Amery, Sir Edward Grigg, Sir Thomas Wilford. The Master of Sempill read messages of congratulations and good wishes from the Prince of Wales, recalling his visit to the school in 1920, and from the Duke of York, mentioning his visit in 1927.
