General damages amounting to £3OO were to-day awarded Wyvern Jack Russell, salesman, against Walter Archibald Bell, a hotelkeeper, who was also carrying on business as a taxi proprietor under the name of Gold Band Cabs. Russell was riding in a taxi when the collision occurred at the junction of two streets, receiving severe injuries, including concussion. Liability was admitted and £129 special damages was decided on and the jury was asked to decide the ] general damages.
