PONEKE RUGBY CLUE

CELEBRATIONS IN SYDNEY Press Association. —Con/right. Sydney, May 10. The jubilee of the Poneke Rugby Union Club (Wellington, New Zealand) was celebrated here to-night, synchronising with the jubilee ball being held in the Wellington Town Hall. Mr. Len Freeman, who gave a dinner, invited a number of former Poneke players and supporters, among whom were Messrs. J. Richardson, M. Rosenblum, J. McShane. T. Pauling, V. Hannam, H. Jessen, R. Ritchie, S. Nieholls and H. Cassclls, in addition to prominent local Rugby Union officials. It was a convivial gathering.
