Masters, announced today that no frirtber teachers will be trained in training colleges before 1935. He states the number of unemployed teachers, together with the Government statistician's estimate that there -will be a considerable decrease in the snext three or four years in the number of children between the ages of five and 14, makes it evident that the present'supply of teachers is sufficient fdr the requirements of service until 1936. . . , No probationers will be appointed until 1934, but in 1935 a number of stu'dents will be admitted to training colleges.
