Allocation of Proceeds Press Association.— Copyright. Wellington, May 5. Allocations of the proceeds of the Groat Eastern art union were announced by the Hon. J. A. Young this evening. The sum of £IO,OOO goes to the relief of distress throughout the Dominion, £3OOO to the trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum for the "Peat" collection of kauri gum and Maori curios, £350 to Waikato Children's Camp League, £SOO to the Wellington Children's Camp Association, £IOO to the Christchurch Sunshine League Camp, £IOO to Mi's. Marshall MacDonald's Waikouaiti children's health camp, Dunedin, £3OO to the Rev. Leslie B. Neale's Company Bay children's camp, £ISOO to the Central Otago Gold Miners' Prospecting Association, £SOO to the United Fire Brigades' Association. The £IO,OOO for the relief of distress is to be made available pro rata in the centres showing unemployed registrations of 30 and ever at March 18.
