Sydney, April 25. —Before a crowd of ten thousand at the stadium Jimmy Kelso, 9st 91b, defeated A 1 Foreman (England), 9s 91b. for the lightweight boxing championship of the British Empire. Foreman was the holder of the title. The fight was over fifteen three-mmule rounds. Kelso was floored in the eight!) round but fought back strongly. Foreman stated afterwards that the better man won the fight.
