Credit Balance of Over £3OOO HIGHLY PROSPEROUS POSITION A credit, balance of £3388 11s was disclosed at the meeting of the Whanganiomona County Council. Councillors expressed their satisfaction at the position, and in moving the adoption of the balance sheet the chairman, Mr. C. N. Cleland, paid a high tribute to the clerk, Mr. F. G. Catchpole. who received congratulations. It was mentioned that in the many years Mr. Catchpole had been clerk he had never once presented a tagged balance sheet to the council.
