New System of Justice COMMISSIONER APPOINTED Press Association —Copyright Berlin, April 23. —Herr Hans Frank, the Bavarian Minister of Justice, has been appointed the Reich's Commissioner of Justice. His special task, it is stated, will be to harmonise the administration of justice in all the federated States. It is believed that the appointment is a prelude to the replacement of the axioms of Roman law by an essentially German law system, under which the individual will be subordinated to the State. BOYCOTT OF GERMAN GOODS Press Association —Copyright London, April 23. —A procoscession of 300 motor cars toured the City of London and East End streets bearing posters marked: “Boycott German goods.” This was part of a scheme to hold demonstrations in every city and town in the country. The organisers state: “We intend to fight the Teutonic barbarism with the strongest weapon—an economic boycott. Our members have already cancelled orders to the extent of £1,000,000. This is only the beginning.”
