Election of Committee
TEN NOMINATIONS RECEIVED
The fact that there arc ten nominations for nine vacancies on the Stratford Primary School Committee is evidence of the interest of parents in the welfare of the school, and is in distinct contrast to the position obtaining in many towns where parents are most apathetic. Nominations closed with the chairman of the committee, Mr. A. E. Moss, on Monday night. Two citizens who have not previously sat on the committee have been nominated, viz., Mrs. I. Petrie, junr., and Mr. F. E. Trimm. The only retiring member of the committee as at present constituted is Mrs. E. Rauford. The candidates are Messrs. P. T. Aitken. A. Ferguson. C. M. Lindop, I. Morrison, F. E. Trimm, D. R. Turnbull, H. F. Vosseler and A. E. Moss and Mesdames S. Robinson and ,T. Petrie, junr. The annual' meeting of householders will be held at the school on Monday next. May 1, at 7.30 p.m., when the election of the committee will take place.
