NEW ZEALAND'S POPULATION
LATEST ESTIMATE 1,589,696 Wellington, Nov. 4.—According to the latest statistics, the population of New Zealand showed an increase during the September quarter of 2146, compared with an increase of 3497 in the corresponding period last 3 T ear. The total estimated population, including dependencies, at date was 1,589,696, comprising 810,963 males and 778,733 females. Excluding Maoris, the total population of New Zealand is 1,456,849.
