LONDON, July IT--Approving the offer of Sir Thomas Beecham, the conductor and composer, of a composition of 10s in the pound with his creditors, who are owed ,-£172,(507, i the registrar expressed the opinion | (hat Sir Thomas’ insolvency was due Ito unjustifiable extravagance and culpable neglect of his business af--1 ffiirs. Sir Thomas Beecham denied that Ihe had been extravagant. The composition necessitates the trustees of the settled estates raising £IOO,OOO.
