ADMISSION TO WEDDINGS
PARISHIONERS’ RIGHTS NO NEED FOR A TICKET It is wrong to deny a ticketless parishioner entry to a church where an admission by ticket wedding is taking place.. Such is the reply of the Legal Board of the Church Assembly to an inquiry as to the right of the incumbent to limit admission to the church to persons having tickets, par. icularly in the case of weddings. Tickets, the board decided, cfluld be issued for a wedding—ticket holders being warned to arrive at a certain time in order to ensure a seat — bin no parishioner oculd be refused admission m the ground of not having a ticket. The board also staled that in the case of episcopal enthronements—met being a service which the public had an absolute light to attend — the proper authority could issue tickets and decide who should 1m present.
