ROBINSON CRUSOE UP TO DATE

MISSING AIRMAN MAY BE ON LONELY ISLAND New York Times Cable. MANILA, June 9.—Stories of a Robinson Crusoe of the air, castaway on a tiny northernmost inland in the Philippines when his plane crashed on an attempted Macao to Manila flight last year, were being checked by authorities to-day. The Robinson Crusoe of the ad venture may be Glenn Brophy, given up as lost for ever a year. Brophy's plane might have been forced dowr and drifted to the island, it was said, and the flier might have succeeded in remaining alive there.
