MEETING OF EXECUTIVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR RELIEF MEASURES The recent combined effort on the part of the Stratford Unemployed promises to bear fruit very soon. At a meeting of the men's executive held in the Unemployment office at the council chambers last night, several important matters affecting the in : terests cf the local unemployed were dealt with, and it appears that the establishment of the association was on right lines.

The committee also decided to ap ph to the Government for an allov rrrent of meat for distribution in Stratford.

It. is the committee's intention to inaugurate entertainmeuts to raise funds to enable groceries, bread, etc. to be distributed in the town.
