LONDON, Aug. 7.—Rear-Admiral Evans (late qf the Australian 'Navy) and his "Norwegian wife landed from 'the. motor-ship Tudor at'Dunkirk, visited Lomion, 'had '65 lons of luggage .delivered at 'their home in Sloano •Square, and went off lo "Norway. 'While 'the luggage 'was being sorted out Adniiral'Evans spdke of the-quali-ities of the men of the Australian Navy. He emphasised their keenness, their physical 'fitness, andlheir general high intelligence. He did not comment on the economic situation in the Commonwealth, beyond saying, laughingly, that when he arrived there he 'felt poor; butwhen he left his fixed pay made him i*egard 'himself as among the comparatively wealthy.
