WELLINGTON RETAILERS COMPLAIN ASSOCIATION FORMED Press Association. —Copyright. WELLINGTON, To-day. A Wellington Retail Traders' Association was formed at. a well attended meeting. The aim of the new body is to find means of reducing overhead charges and betteritig retailers' conditions. It is stated that the Wellington retailers were charged startling rates for electricity, and are resolved to seek reductions. A complaint was also made regarding telephone rentals, it being stated there were several thousand subscribers who had discontinued their telephones. The Government had shown stubborn resistance to requests for reduced rates.
