Miss B. E. Henderson, ot the Central School, New Plymouth, who will retire at the end of the week after being a teacher at the school for 19 years, and Miss E. M. Davies, Manchester, an exchange teacher, from England, who is being- transferred to Auckland or Canterbury, were farewellert last night. Miss Henderson was presented with a tea waggon and silver teaset.
